Radiographic testing (RT)

Radiographic testing is mainly used for detecting internal irregularities, especially material defects such as pores, slag particles and metallic inclusions. The capability of this test decreases with increasing material thickness.

• RT using stationary and mobile X-ray tubes up to 300 kV
• Digital radiography (filmless inspection by X-ray) on welds and light-metal casts
