Non-destructive testing

SLV Halle GmbH provides non-destructive testing using conventional and new testing methods to customer specifications using state-of-the-art testing equipment and facilities to specifications set by customers from research and industry either at SLV Halle GmbH or at any production or assembly site. Production monitoring is also available for technical testing by specialised staff with level 3 qualifications according to DIN EN ISO 9712 based on the corresponding targets set. SLV Halle GmbH also specifies and prepares testing methods, technology and instructions for specialised testing scenarios.

Facilities and equipment are available for radiographic, ultrasonic, penetration, and magnetic particle testing as well as visual inspection. Selected specialised non-destructive testing methods round off the range of services provided by the department.
SLV Halle GmbH also runs specialised training programmes for non-destructive testing staff according to DIN EN ISO 9712.
